In today’s digital age, we have all become a bit too attached to our phones, tablets, and other gadgets to the point where life outside of the screen has become a little bizarre and alien. Its addiction has become real, and it’s wreaking havoc on our mental health. Our fingers twitch when we haven’t checked Instagram and other social media profiles for 10 minutes.

From the above-mentioned data, it is very much evident that the use of technology is increasing on a daily basis and this overuse of technology is leading to stress, anxiety, depression, social isolation, and insomnia.

To get rid of this addiction, one has to practice self-control. Dedicate time slots throughout the day where you turn off all your incoming notifications. Instead of spending your day scrolling down on feeds or chatting on Whatsapp or binge-watching favourite shows, one should spend some time with themselves.

Delete all the unwanted apps from your mobile phone that you never use or hardly ever use. They are just adding digital clutters and causing unneeded stress.
